Ingredients 2 cups flour 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup cocoa 1 teaspoon baking powder 125g butter (melted) 2 eggs 1 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 1 cup hot water 1/4 cup of Irish cream made up to 1 cup with milk 1 tablespoon malt vinegar Recipe In a large bowl: sift all dry ingredients. In another bowl: beat eggs, melt butter, add milk, vinegar, water and baking soda. Pour liquid into dry ingredients and mix well. Fully line an 8″ cake tin. Pour in mixture. Bake at 175 degrees celsius (350 fahrenheit) for 50 minutes then test with a skewer. When skewer comes out clean (but slightly sticky) the cake is cooked. Let cake cool on a rack under a towel.
