Paneer kheer is the scrumptious Indian pudding prepared with paneer and milk as the main ingredients. Paneer payasam is the sweet that can be served while fasting.
Paneer – 250 grams
Sugar – 100 grams (1.5 cup)
Green cardamom powder – ½ tsp
Cashews – 6 to 7
Full cream milk – ½ litre
Pistachios – 2 to 3
1.Chop the cashews and slice the pistachios.
2.Begin with boiling the milk in a vessel for 6 to 7 minutes more after the milk starts simmering. Then add the grated paneer to the milk and cook by stirring rigorously until the kheer becomes thick.
3.Later, add sugar, cashews and green cardamom powder in the kheer and mix everything properly. Cook the kheer for another 1 to 2 minutes to dissolve the sugar. Then transfer the kheer in a bowl, paneer kheer is ready.
4.Garnish this lip-smacking paneer kheer with pistachios and serve its steaming hot or chilled.
