English recipe Okonomiyaki Serves 2 People Ingredients •Water 250ml •Flour 250ml •eggs 2 •1/4 cabbage •Green onions •Pinch of Salt •Mayonnaise •Tonkatsu Sauce •Bonito Flakes •Cut up seaweed Method 1.Pour the flour and water into a bowl. With a whisk mix the flour and water together. Put the batter into the refrigerator for 15 minutes. 2.Chop up the cabbage, and green onions. Add to the batter the eggs, cabbage, ½ cup of green onions, and salt. Mix well. 3.On a hot non-stick pan, add oil and spread batter. 4.Cook the okonomiyaki using two metal spatulas. Cook 5 minutes for each side. 5.Spread the tonkatsu sauce onto the okonomiyaki, and spread the mayonnaise. Garnish with seaweed, green onions and bonito flakes. You may also add some chopped up raw shrimp, dired shrimp, or even chopped up octopus to the batter. Change the recipe to your liking. Another option is to add on slices of pork when you are frying.
