1 cup wheat rava / dalia / cracked / broken wheat
3 cups water
2 tbsp oil
Salt as per taste
1 onion – chopped
2 green chilles – finely chopped
10 curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp urad dal
2 tsp channa dal
1 tsp jeera / cumin seeds
Take a pan / kadai. Add oil and tempering ingredients. Add onions, chillies, curry leaves. Add salt for onions to cook. Add water and salt. Mix well. Bring water to rolling boil. Add rava and salt as per taste. Cook on med flame for 10 mins. Dalia upma is ready.
Serve hot !!
