Grilled Steak and Tomato RecipeGrilled (smoked) steak and tomato is a terrific combination! Make sure to give this entire recipe a shot! Be sure to use a thick cut of steak, preferably a sirloin, but new york strip and others will do fine. INGREDIENTS RUB 2 tablespoons salt 1 tablespoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon onion powder 1 tablespoon paprika 1 tablespoon parsley flakes Chimichurri Sauce 1 large bunch of fresh flat leaf parsley, washed, stemmed, and dried 8 cloves of garlic, peeled 3 tablespoons minced onion 5 tablespoons distilled white vinegar or more to taste 5 tablespoons water 1 teaspoon coarse salt (kosher or sea) 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 to 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes to taste 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1 cup extra virgin olive oil Chimichurri instructions Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Add liquid ingredients last and process until all ingredients come together.
