Terri, an employee with The State Bank of Wynnewood (Okla.), shares one of her favorite recipes–Grape Salad–in this episode of “Bank Kitchen Recipe”. The recipe follows… GRAPE SALAD – 12 cups of grapes–washed, and dried – one (1) eight ounce package of softened cream cheese – one (1) teaspoon of vanilla – 1/2 cup of powdered sugar – 1/2 cup of chopped pecans First, wash and dry the grapes; set aside in a large dish. Next, in a separate mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla; cream together. Then, add the creamed mixture to the grapes, and stir to thoroughly coat each grape. Finally, add the pecans, stir the salad one last time to blend all the ingredients. Note: green, and/or red crapes can be used in this recipe. Red grapes tend to taste sweeter while the green taste more tart.
